Turnaround specialists are a relatively new breed in the business world, but in this era of rapid painful change, their service has become more and more in demand. Rising foreign competition, fast-changing technology and shifting financial markets have created a climate when no business can take economic stability for granted. The accelerated pace of change has turned once-successful CEOs into hesitant managers who are no longer able to provide strong leadership for their companies.
